Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh was born on September 20, 1978, in Belton, Missouri. Her parents are Alta and Merle Feuerborn.
She has ten siblings. Her six brothers are Marty, Joseph, Andrew, Michael, Paul, and John Joseph Feuerborn. Similarly, her four sisters are Pamela, Mary Beth, Anna Marie, and Amy Marie Feuerborn.
Married to Jim Harbaugh
Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh tied the knot with Jim Harbaugh on January 5, 2008. They first met in 2006 shortly after his divorce from his ex-wife, Miah Harbaugh.
Sarah and Jim met in the parking lot of a Chinese restaurant, P.F. Chang’s in Las Vegas. While the former was working as a real estate agent, the latter was in town for a coaches’ convention.
Sarah was there getting take-out. I went up to her and asked if I could meet her. So, she said, ‘Sure you can meet me.’ I didn’t believe her, at first. I thought it was one of those fake numbers she was giving me. But I called her. Multiple times. Like, nine times before she returned my call.
Sarah’s brother, Marty spoke about their love story during an interview and revealed that Jim’s persistence turned a “chance meeting into an eight-year marriage.”
When he (Coach Jim) first started talking to her, she wouldn’t talk to him. He chased her and chased her. Sarah says, to this day, if he hadn’t done that this (their marriage) wouldn’t be here.
Well, the pair dated for a while and walked down the aisle in 2008. They have been together ever since.
Says It’s Hard to be Married to a Coach
Sarah Feuerborn appeared as a guest on CSN after a 49ers game in 2016 and during her interview, she revealed how hard it is to be a coach’s wife. She disclosed that the game itself is distressing and the outcomes also impact her life.
Feuerborn also says her husband doesn’t tell her much about coaching because “her mouth is too big.”
As for Jim, he finds his wife, Sarah Feuerborn, perfect. During an interview with ESPN in 2010, he commended both his wife and quarterback, Andrew Luck, and revealed that they are absolutely perfect the way they are.
I was thinking just the other night that two people in my life, my wife and our quarterback, Andrew Luck, have a lot in common in that they’re just both perfect. With most people you say, “If they only didn’t do that. Or they didn’t do this.” Or you wish they could do this, or you wish they could do that. But I don’t do that with my wife Sarah or Andrew Luck. They are just absolutely perfect the way they are. For football coach that’s pretty great — to have a great wife and a great quarterback.

Sarah Harbaugh has welcomed four children with her husband, Jim Harbaugh. They have two daughters, Addison and Katherine, and two sons, Jack and John Paul Harbaugh.
