Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek bared it all for Fox special The Real Full Monty to help raise awareness for testicular, prostate, and colorectal cancer. But little did we know, he was also battling with one.
One of the blessed moments of clarity I’ve had on this #cancer journey was sayong yes to #TheRealFullMonty.
On November 4, James revealed through an emotional Instagram post that he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. He was diagnosed in August 2023.
I’ve been dealing with this privately until now, getting treatment and dialing in my overall health with greater focus than ever before. I’m in a good place and feeling strong. It’s been quite the initiation, and I’ll tell you more when I’m ready…
