Was Once Kidnapped
The celebrity spouse, Aneliz Aguilar Alvarez was once kidnapped. During an interview with Mario Lopez on September 9, 2013, Pepe Aguilar revealed that his brother and wife were kidnapped in Mexico.
Aguilar revealed that he was worried when his wife didn’t pick her phone up. When she picked her phone up later, she said something that made no sense.
It was the type of kidnapping that they’re calling them “express kidnappings.” What they do is they kidnap you and they put you in the trunk of your car just drive you around take your car, take your money, go to the ATM get all the money they have, and then after 4-5 hours drop you in the middle of nowhere.
Stepson Arrested on Smuggling Charge
Aneliz Aguilar Alvarez’s stepson Jose Emiliano Aguilar was charged with smuggling four Chinese immigrants into San Diego back in 2017. Following the incident, he was sent to jail on March 14, 2017, and released on bond after 18 days.
An opportunity to earn $3,000 to $6,000 saw Jose smuggle four Chinese immigrants (two to New York and the rest to LA) alongside a female passenger. The officer’s dog had sniffed out the immigrants from the trunk of a Chrysler 200.
Emiliano was sentenced to three years on probation with the first six months under home detention.
