Charity Fund Scandal
Elizabeth Baldwin Keuchler is earning a huge amount of worth from her career as an executive director of the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of Central New York.
RadarOnline reported she earned $243,473 in salary and other compensations in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Source also revealed that she is the only employee who is paid a salary at the charity organization.
After the news became public, James Edstrom (volunteer for the Fund in the 90s) opened up about his anger.
It angers me that nobody’s looked into the expenses of the fund. Nobody seems to be outraged that Elizabeth’s … expenses are paid for and she gets a salary out of the fund.
Continuing the statement, he divulged that there’s no reason for the wealthy to take money out if one is doing charity.
You look at a family like that that … and everybody thinks they’re doing it for the goodness of their hearts. If you’re gonna do a charity and you’re a wealthy person, there’s no reason to take any money out.
The sources also added,
It used to outrage me so much the way Carol Baldwin would go collect money at schools where kids would get change out of their lunch money to donate and stuff like that and then see it go to the family. Where’s the justice, when you’re on salary and all these expenses are being paid for. It really upset me that nobody really seemed to care about where this money was going.
Married to Charles Keuchler
The 66-year-old Elizabeth Baldwin Keuchler is in a marital relationship with Charles Keuchler (professional landscape contractor). They shared their vows in 1975 in Massapequa, New York in a secret wedding ceremony.
