The Silence of the Lambs actress Jodie Foster has two children, both sons, born through artificial insemination, Charles Bernard Foster and Kit Bernard Foster.
“Artificial insemination is a fertility treatment method used to deliver sperm directly to the cervix or uterus in the hopes of getting pregnant,” according to Healthline.
Jodie Foster’s Eldest Son, Charles Bernard Foster
Charles Bernard Foster is the first son of the 61-year-old, Jodie Foster. He was born at 5:53 AM on July 20, 1998, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles through artificial insemination following a 12-hour labor. He weighed seven and a half pounds and measured 20.5 inches.
Jodie tried her hardest to hide her pregnancy but it was revealed when she visited a clinic in LA. According to the rumors, she was there to collect the sperm of a dark-haired 6-foot-tall PhD scientist with an IQ of 160.
A few years after her birth, in one of the interviews, Jodie revealed that her son Charles was a big eater. She even started losing weight while breastfeeding.
I just couldn’t stop losing weight with breastfeeding. I ate as much as I possibly could, but I kept losing. You’ll see why when you meet Charlie. He’s a stocky guy, and he likes to eat. You cook it, he’ll eat it.
Charles graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Yale University in 2021.
Jodie Foster’s Youngest Son, Kit Bernard Foster
Kit Bernard Foster is the second son of Jodie Foster. He was born the same way as his brother, that is through artificial insemination, on September 29, 2001, a month before the due date.
Pat Kingsley, her publicist, confirmed the news.
There is no reason to raise any flags – everything was normal. Both are at home and fine.
The news of her pregnancy was revealed in April 2001 when she spoke to columnist Liz Smith.

Kit Foster will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Princeton University in 2024.
As for his professional life, he works as a Research Assistant for the Rabitz Group at Princeton University. They are currently working on the Quantum Many-Body System.
He worked as a Student Undergraduate Researcher in Chemistry at Sorenson Lab at Princeton for three months from June 2022 to August 2022. He was also a Student Undergraduate Research Fellow in Chemistry for the Bocarsly Group at Princeton from June 2021 to August 2021.

In 2008, when talking to Parade, Jodie Foster spoke about motherhood and what it is like to raise two sons. She told the magazine that her sons would get a lot of bruises just from playing around. She also claimed that with boys, you get “a lot of accidental jabs in the eye and stepping on your feet.”

Randy and Jodie dated a long time ago. The producer died of a heart attack in February 2017.
