The American TV host and political commentator, Tucker Carlson has four kids with his wife, Susan Andrews. Buckley Carlson is their only son.
Buckley was born in 1997 in Virginia. He was named after his dad’s younger brother, Buckley Swanson Peck Carlson. He has three siblings, Lillie (b. 1995), Hopie (b. 1999), and Dorothy (b. 2002).

He started working under Banks in July 2019 with an entry-level job as a staff assistant. He became a special assistant before getting promoted to Press Secretary in January 2020. A year later, he became the Deputy Communications Director, and just over a year later, he became the Communications Director.
Prior to working under Rep. Jim Banks, Buckley worked as a Communications Intern at the White House under President Donald Trump.
Controversy Regarding Nepotism
In 2022, a news article regarding nepotism sparked controversy. The article used Buckley Carlson as an example of Rep. Jim Banks’ faulty MAGA (Make America Great Again) support.
Deep down, he dies to be liked by the Establishment. He hires Tucker Carlson’s son, a 24-year-old kid, to be his communications director.
Following the article, Tucker phoned Minnesota Rep. Tom Emmer in anger to reveal the staff who mentioned his son’s hiring. If he didn’t reveal the person responsible, Carlson said he would assume it was Emmer himself.

Quarrel with a Middle-Aged Man
In 2018, Buckley Carlson and his dad, Tucker Carlson got into an altercation with a gay Latino man during dinner at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The incident took place after the man insulted his younger sister, Hopie, who had just returned from the bathroom. Buckley threw a glass of red wine on the man’s face before telling him to leave the bar. He also complained to the club’s management, who, after investigation, revoked the man’s membership.
I think any father can understand the overwhelming rage and shock that I felt seeing my teenage daughter attacked by a stranger. But I restrained myself. I didn’t assault this man, and neither did my son.
