If you know Alphabet Inc CEO, Sundar Pichai, you’ve certainly heard about his wife, Anjali Pichai.
Happily Married to Sundar Pichai
Anjali Pichai and Sundar Pichai have been married since the mid-90s though the exact dates are unavailable. They were classmates at IIT Kharagpur; while she was in the chemical engineering faculty, her partner was in the metallurgical engineering department.

They had a difficult love life. During an event at IIT Kharagpur back in 2017, Sundar revealed how embarrassing it was to show up at the girl’s hostel just to talk to his then-girlfriend.
I met Anjali at IIT-K and she was my classmate. Just to go get someone at the girl’s hostel, you had to walk in the front and request someone to call them. And they’d go in and loudly say – Anjali, Sundar is here. It wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience.
Although the pair had been together for a few years, Sundar only proposed during his senior year, and even then, they couldn’t get married straight away. Why? Sundar had to move to the US to complete his Master’s in Engineering and Materials Science at Stanford University. They tied the knot a couple of years later.

From their marriage, Anjali and Sundar Pichai have become parents to two children, a daughter and a son. Their first child, daughter, Kavya Pichai was born in February 2003 while their second kid, Kiran Pichai was born four years later in 2007.

Anjali Pichai (nee Haryani) was born on January 11, 1971, in Kota, Rajasthan, India. She grew up alongside her brother, Amit Haryani.
Her father, Olaram Haryani, then 70, married Madhuri Sharma, then 65, on September 23, 2015, in Arya Samaj Mandir two years after the death of Anjali’s mother.
Pichai is an IIT-Kharagpur (Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur) graduate with a B. Tech degree in Chemical Engineering. She graduated in 1993. Recently, IIT Kharagpur honored her with a Distinguished Alumnus Award in San Francisco. Similarly, her husband was also awarded the Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) award during the same event.

Anjali Pichai worked at Intuit as a Business Operations Manager. Since her LinkedIn profile has no updates, we can’t be sure as to where she is currently engaged.
Her past work shows her working as a Business Analyst at Accenture. She worked there for three years from 1999 to 2002.
Meanwhile, Sundar, as we all know, is the CEO of Alphabet Inc. He started working at Google in April 2004. 11 years later, he was named the CEO. According to CNN, the 52-year-old took home $226 million in 2022 alone; the majority of which came from his stock holdings, valued (in 2022) at more than $218 million, while the rest came from his base salary of $2 million.
Lives in Los Altos
Anjali and her family of four reside in their luxurious home in Los Altos Hills, California. They were living in a 4,429 sq. ft. mansion on Donelson Place prior.

Sundar purchased their 9,717 sq. ft. property in 2014 for a whopping $6 million and contracted Robert Swatt, partner at Swatt Miers Architects for the renovation. Their house boasts a 2 story structure with a swimming pool, pond, spa, gym, wine cellar, and even an elevator.
