Naomi Fleming, born in 1958 in Kentucky, USA, is the mother of three children from different partners.

Her eldest son, William Jason King was born on February 25, 1974, in Versailles, Kentucky. Her second son, Shaun, was born five years later on September 17, 1979. Her third child is also a son named Russ King, however, we are unsure about his birthdate.

All of my siblings and I have different parents. I’m actually not even sure how many siblings I have. It is horrifying to me that my most personal information, for the most nefarious reasons, has been forced out into the open and that my private past and pain have been used as joked and fodder to discredit me and the greater movement for justice in America.
I resent that lies have been reported as truth and that the obviously racist intentions of these attacks have been consistently downplayed at my expense and that of my family.

Death of Her Eldest Son

Her eldest son, Jason King, died at the age of 44. He passed away in September 2018.

Jason was a “husband, father, brother, son, pastor, advocate, neighbor, friend.” He graduated from Woodford County High School as a Governor’s Scholar in 1992 and then with a Bachelor’s in Physics from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. In 2002, he graduated with a degree in Christian Education and Youth Ministry at Asbury Theological Seminary and soon became a pastor.

Jason is survived by his wife, Kari (Sophie) Anderson, and their two children, Elana and Josiah King.

Biological Father of Shaun King

Shaun King, though has someone named Jefferey Wayne King as his father on his birth certificate, he says his biological father is someone else.

The reports about my race, about my past, and about the pain I’ve endured are all lies. My mother is a senior citizen. I refuse to speak in detail about the nature of my mother’s past, or her sexual partners, and I am gravely embarrassed to even be saying this now, but I have been told for most of my life that the white man on my birth certificate is not my biological father and that my actual biological father is a light-skinned black man.

When Shaun spoke with his mother, she revealed that his dad was a black man. Naomi was married and divorced several times and raised him and several siblings as a single mother.
