Eja Lange is the son of five-time Grammy Award winner Shania Twain and Robert John ‘Mutt’ Lange.
Eja D’Angelo Lange was born on August 12, 2001, in Corseaux, Switzerland.

Passion for Music
Like his mother, Shania Twain, Eja Lange is also following in the footsteps of his mother. In 2019, Shania spoke to Entertainment Tonight and revealed how her son has developed a passion for music. However, he didn’t want to be on stage.
He’s very passionate about making music, creating music, composing music. He doesn’t have this desire to be on stage. I’m not sure if he would ever go in that direction. He’s following more in the footsteps of creating the music. He loves to orchestrate music. I’m very happy for him.
The From This Moment On singer also spoke to Sounds Like Nashville and revealed that her son is quite hard-working and has been making music for a few years. He has “a crazy passion for making music.”
He definitely listens to EDM, so that’s where he is as a fan, but he listens to all kinds of music. He likes a wide variety of stuff. Hans Zimmer is one of his biggest heroes. There’s a real broad spectrum in his life musically, so he makes all kinds of stuff and he orchestrates a lot of things. He loves to arrange music and write music. He’s just on his own journey.
Parents are Separated
Eja Lange’s parents are divorced. Shania Twain and Robert Mutt Lange divorced after the former found her husband cheating. He was cheating with the singer’s assistant and best friend, Marie-Ann Thiebaud.
Shania filed for divorce in May 2008, however, the divorce was only finalized on June 9, 2010. Following their separation, Shania married Frederic Thiebaud (Marie-Ann’s ex-husband) on January 1, 2011.
During his parents’ divorce, Eja was just six years old.
You’re just not always so self-focused…you’re like, ‘No, I’m a mom, and I’m gonna…I’m gonna do my best, I’m committed to this. And that is very healthy…I don’t want to say distraction, but preoccupation that you love and enjoy!
Media-Shy
Although Eja Lange is the only son of the Queen of Country Pop, he is media-shy. This might be the reason why he stays away from the limelight.
He doesn’t have that extrovert — you know everybody looks at me — a type of personality. I think it will suit him well to be the creator.
Living a Lavish Lifestyle
The 23-year-old Eja Lange lives a lavish lifestyle thanks to his mother. His mother has an estimated net worth of $400 million according to Parade.com.
Twain earned over $45 million from just the sales of her Come On Over album. Similarly, Up! earned her $24 million while The Woman in Me earned her $22 million.
In 2021, Eja bought a house in Tinseltown, Los Feliz, for a whopping $1.8 million. The property holds a 1961 mid-century modern home on 2,300 square feet of land.
