Katia Washington has been working in the entertainment industry as a producer and has worked in a handful of TV shows and movies. She started her career as an editorial production assistant in Django Unchained in 2012.
In the 2016 movie, The Birth of a Nation, she served as a production assistant. She worked as a production assistant again in the same year while working on a period drama film, Fences.
Some of her other off-screen projects include Pieces of a Woman, Malcolm & Marie, and Entertainment Tonight.
