Prefers to Stay Low Key
While talking with ESPN, Malcolm revealed that he went to a private school in LA and it’s been low-key all his life but in college, his life changed.
I went to a private school in Los Angeles. Back home, it was really low-key, but in college, I was thrown into an environment where everybody knew everything about me. There were 10,000 people who knew who I was before I even got here. It’s crazy. I’m adjusting to it.
Parents Married Since 1983
Malcolm Washington’s parents, Denzel and Pauletta Washington first met on the set of the television film, Wilma. They soon started dating and got married in the year 1983. Since then that pair is leading a happy married life.
Career as a Film Maker
Malcolm Washington started his career in the entertainment industry as an assistant director in 2016 in the short video, Trouble Man. The following year, he worked in The Last Bookstore as its assistant director.
He has also produced movies such as The Dispute, North Hollywood, and Summer of 17. He has also written a short video titled Benny Got Shot.
Washington received huge recognition in 2017 for his work as an assistant in the TV series, She’s Gotta Have It.
He was a basketball player during his college days. But, he quit playing later on.
