Michael joined Fox NFL Sunday pregame show on June 24, 2008. Ten years later, he became the host of Fox NFL Thursday pregame show.
On October 1, 2010, he joined Kelly as a guest host in Live! with Regis and Kelly. Regis Philbin left the show in 2011 and Michael started co-hosting the show on September 4, 2012.

Michael Strahan purchased his first house in 1997 in Houston for $163,000. In 2000, he bought a house on Gregorian Heights for $1.3 million.
Seven years later, he sold his Montclair mansion for $3.6 million and bought a $1.665 million mansion in Lower Manhattan a year later. The property in Lower Manhattan was later sold for $2.4 million in 2014.
When he was together with Nicole Mitchell Murphy, he purchased another house for $17 million. In 2015, he sold his Los Angeles home for $21.5 million.

Michael Strahan bought his first car, 1993 GMC Typhoon after he got drafted into the New York Giants. He purchased a 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo the next year.

When Michael divorced his second wife, Jean Muggli, he had to pay her a whopping $15.3 million as the divorce alimony. In addition to it, he paid her $18 thousand per month as child support. In 2008, after retiring from the NFL, child support was reduced to $13,000.
