Anna Shaffer is an English actress who made her acting debut from her role in a 2009 fantasy movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Since then, she has worked in several movies and series having more than a dozen acting credits under her name.
Recently, she rose to fame for appearing as Triss Merigold in the Netflix fantasy series, The Witcher.

She graduated with A levels from Camden School for Girls in London Borough of Camden in North London. She also attended Highgate Wood in Crouch End for five years.
Married to Jimmy Stephenson
The 29-year-old Anna Shaffer shared her wedding vows with her longtime lover Jimmy Stephenson in July 2021. She took to her Instagram to share the news of her big day with wine merchant Jimmy in July 2021 writing the caption, “introducing my first husband”.

The lovebirds who dated for around seven years originally planned to get married earlier this year (around March) in a small ceremony but postponed it due to the Coronavirus restrictions.
Today was supposed to be the day we got married down the registry office with our parents (because… f**king hell, joy please!) but COVID had other plans. Ah well.
Owner of Hector’s
Anna Shaffer and her husband, Jimmy Stephenson are currently the owners of a new wine bar, cafe, and restaurant, Hector’s London. They opened the restaurant with the backing of Luca Mathiszig-Lee, owner of the Hill & Szork Restaurant.

Wanted to be an Actor Since Childhood
Anna Shaffer developed her passion for acting in her childhood days and became a part of school plays. While she was in her teenage, she decided to make acting her career and joined an arts center.
While being interviewed by Erin Lynch of Geek Girl Authority, she revealed that her very first audition was awful.

At the moment, Anna is managed by Kitty Laing and Charlotte Davies of United Agents UK.
The Witcher
In 2019, Anna Shaffer portrayed the role of Triss Merigold, a Temerian sorceress, in the Netflix TV series, The Witcher. She appeared in all nine episodes of the first season.
Anna will reprise her role as Triss in the second season of The Witcher.
The second season of the series premiered on December 1, 2021. It is going to be released on December 17, 2021.

Continuing her interview with Erin Lynch, she joked about already having a superpower when asked about the kind of superpower she would love to have.
No matter where I am in the world I will bump into someone I know. Usually someone I do NOT want to bump in to. Seriously, I could be in the Sahara desert and I will see an ex walking towards me. AND IT WONT BE A MIRAGE. My superpower would be getting rid of that superpower. It’s hell.
