In 1980, the district attorney of San Mateo County, California sued Steve for child support. But, he kept on denying paternity and named another man as Lisa’s dad.

The lawsuit ended on December 8, 1980. Four days later, Apple went public and her dad’s net worth rose to $200 million overnight.
