Allie was tested positive for COVID back in July 2021. Fortunately, she only suffered from a sore throat.
Truth is, as a parent, nobody knows what COVID’s going to do in the future. So, you just watch over them, hug them. You pray for them a lot. Hopefully, she’ll come out of this thing with just that. That would be wonderful. My love and heart go out to those parents that are losing children.

Allie’s parents, Garth and Sandy married on May 24, 1996. They were married for 15 years. The couple separated in March 1999 and filed for divorce on November 6, 2000. they finalized their divorce on December 17, 2001.
Even after their separation, Sandy and Garth took care of their children together.
They saw both their parents in the morning and both their parents in the evening, and for 14 years. That was how we ran it because we knew it was right for those kids. If you did what was right for the kids, you were going to do what was right for you. It was simple.
Her mom has remained single; however, her dad married Trisha Yearwood on December 13, 2005, after dating for three years.
